Rain, and Wet Grounds Don‘t Mix For Racing

The rain and threat of rainstorms keep our Saturday Night racing fix impossible to reach.  Once again, the wet grounds keep another night of the greatly need for speed to make it through another week before racing comes again.  The demand for having two consecutive weekends Saturday nights of racing has not been an easy task to accomplish.  For some unknown reason, it has happened each time NASCAR Winston Cup cars also had the same weekend off.  First for Easter, and now for Mother’s Day, the Winston Cup is off from racing. And the grounds in Delmar are drenched and to intimidated by the hovering clouds to help with my addiction.  So, I can't even get a little fix of racing.  So if you have not guessed it by now, there is no racing tonight in Delmar.  But, there is good news.  I don’t have to wait another whole week without racing.  The World of Outlaws will be in town this Tuesday, May 13, 2003, (rain date 5/14/03).  So come on down to the track for a great show I a sure, I know I can't wait.  Gates Open noon, racing starts 7:00 PM.  See you at the track!
