Bare started on the pole, on the start Jarvis got tagged and gets around in turn 4 as Berheisel rolls to stop in turn 2 for the yellow.

On the restart Hertz got shuffled about to outside of turn 4 and pit exit area to bring our another caution.  By lap 2 Lingo got shuffled back from 4th to 6th with not getting a good restart.  Another yellow on lap 3 for Miller getting around turn 3 as Hertz pulls into the pits; but back out before start.  Leading Bare has Friese right on his tail looking on the inside followed by Elliott, Johnson, and Lingo.  The top 3 cars close the gap on each other in lap 9 as the lead pack start lapping cars.  On lap 11 the yellow waved for a car in turn 2 around as the leader, Bare had worked by some of the lap traffic while Friese had got caught up in the traffic.  Bare leads followed by Friese, Elliott, Johnson, Lingo, E. Pettyjohn, D. Pettyjohn, Hulson, and Hill.  It would be a single file restart.  On lap 14 Byram, Emory, and Jarvis get tangled down in turns 1 & 2 for another caution and Miller gets around by pit entrance in turn 3.  Restart lap 15 as the cars approach turn 3, the lap car of Geiger checks up causing a chain reaction involving the front mid pack of Hill, Johnson, Lingo, Hulson, and Hubbard.  This time Bare still leads with Friese, Elliott, E. Pettyjohn, and M. Pettyjohn.  Lap 16 D. Pettyjohn gets around in turn 2 after a lap car checks up again.  Lap 20 no change in the to 3 both 4th & 5th were K. Pettyjohn and M. Pettyjohn.  Another yellow on lap 21 involving Byram, Whaley, Reberson in turn 2.  Kable rolls to a stop on top of turn 2 on lap 23.  At half way Bare leads Elliott, Kenny, and Mark Pettyjohn.  On lap 31 Lingo pulls into the infield and Hill looped around in turn 3 with a little help possibly.  5 laps to go and the cars are bunched up for a restart Foster and Hill tangle in turn 4 with Foster out of shape and they save it but then Foster shoots across the front of Hill and sits just almost to the infield with another coming out.  Foster was sent to the pits.  Lap 49 Hertz had a right rear flat.

Heats:  21 cars were on hand for the 26 spots

1 ST:  B. Watkins 4 with Track Fast Lap:  21.361 seconds and 84.266 MPH, A. Jarrell 31, R. Dutton, Jr.* 8, M. West 91, D. Beach 82, C. Musser 45, R. Wilson 15, D. Hawkins 83, Buddy Thomas 2B.

Tom Curtis started on the pole, on lap one Tucker rolled off of turn 3 embankment thru turn 4 and rolling to a stop.  Tucker was done and apparently he felt he had some help to end his chances.  By lap three Curtis has set the pace and was way out from the field.  Yellow on lap 4 for Ireland, with Curtis, Hastings, Watkins, Jarrell, and Dutton.  Late 5 yellow waves when Valdesere and Wilson get a little out of shape with Musser getting a little piece of the action.  On the restart it was single file.  On lap 6 Jarrell gets by Watkins for 3rd, and on lap 7 Watkins returned the favor to reclaim 3rd.  Jarrell had a good run off turn 3 and gets right up on Watkins back bumper with a big kiss or 2, but both guys keep it together.  At the same time Beach gets by Dutton for 5th but Dutton comes right back and takes it back.  On lap 9 West had some kind of mechanical failure and sat by the back wall for another caution.  Lap 10 at the restart Valdesere rolled to a stop on top of turn 1.  At the halfway sign Curtis leads with Hastings, Watkins, Dutton, and Beach.  Beach gets by Dutton for 4th by turn 1, as cars approach turn 2 Collins, gets over the tire of Chaney and maybe Dutton as well, so out comes the yellow.  The top cars were Curtis, Hastings, Watkins, Beach, Dutton, Hawkins, Musser, Wilson, Hitchens, Cordrey on lap 16.  On lap 17 Musser and Hawkins side by side in turns 3 & 4 with Hawkins getting by on the inside line.  On lap 21 Cordrey on the inside of Musser but Musser closes the door.  On lap 22 Watkins tries giving Hastings a little run for his money but Hastings had the car handling to keep command of 2nd.  Also Beach gets around in turn 1 with a tire going down.  On lap 23 Cordrey got around in turn 2 with a green white checkered.  The restart was Curtis, Hastings, Watkins, Hawkins, and Musser and that was the order in the end.

The car count was definitely down this year for the streets.  Some of the main drivers were not there due to damages made on the last feature night.  A total of 18 cars were there for the 26 spots available.

Mike Wilson started on the pole and was strong in the heat too.  On lap 3 King got hit and got around and was on the hook right away.  Lap 5 E. Williams got around by the infield on the front stretch and not caution wave as he got the car going, now he was in between the 1st and 2nd place cars.  Lap 10 Williams gets around again for s 2nd strike.  At half way it was Wilson, Reed, Eskridge, Bunting, and M. Williams.  On lap 13 6th thru 10th were White, Putz, Patilla, Liedtka, and Johnson.  Lap 15 Eskridge looks to the inside of Reed in turn 3 to make a pass, but Reed closes the door.  Lap 16 Reed got a good run after that and gets under Wilson for the lead but Wilson gets right back up to Reed before the next lap was complete and the a caution was out for E. Williams 3rd strike.  Unfortunately. as E. Williams starts to enter pit exit he misses the road something broke and he was sideways hanging on angle on top the embankment.  Lap 18 Eskridge really has his car set up and gaining speed to get by Reed in turn 3 for 2nd place.  By lap 20 Wilson and Eskridge pull away from the pack of cars.  The yellows out again for Dorry getting around but Bunting passes Reed in turn 1 before that and the lap was just completed.  Lap 22 Patilla makes a move on Putz to take 7th.

Callaway was on the pole, lap 2 its Callaway, Woodhall, Hay, and Knepper.  Lap 5 Helgason gets around in turn 1 & 2 with the caution out.  Lap 6 Hill goes over top side of turn 1 as Lang and Musser head to pits with Lang having a flat on right rear and makes it back out before restart. On the restart the fields coming down the back stretch to turn 3 as Talley gets turned backward and over turn 3 embankment.  Just as this was going on, Miles hit one of the inside track guard tires and send himself high up in the air flipping over a few rolls.  The yellow was back out, Miles was okay, and a talk with him later showed he had right hand damage with a possible break in the hand as he had no knuckle on the third hand.  It was a single file restart with Callaway, Woodhall, Hendricks, Hay, Fritter.  Yellow back out on lap 8 for White around in turn 3 and Riccio rolls to a stop by pit exit.  On the restart 6th thru 10th were Knepper, Warren, Darling, E. McKinney, B. Walls, and R. Walls.  Somehow during the caution a few cars tangle on the front stretch with one of the car front end damage.  At the halfway Callaway leads Woodhall, Hendricks, Hay, Fritter.  On lap 18 6th-10th were Knepper, Darling, E. McKinney, B. Walls and R. Walls.    Lap 18 the top cars all have good distance between them.  Later Darling sustain problems on lap 23 and got around in turn 2 while running 7th.

Slide For Five Won By:  Joey Sinclair Jr.  # 20

                                                                   2nd - Kevin VanVorst  # 4X

                                                                   3rd - Michael Rash  # 33

The Slide For Five got a shaky start as the cars went down in turns 1 & 2 the number 8 of Dale Brown got sideways and got struck in the driver door.  Brown complained of some pain in his back and side, so to take no chances the medical team was called to the seen to make sure he was taken car.  As far as I was told nothing serious.
